He’s Back!
Finally! Mr. Bowie’s back… but actually, he was never gone. Guess he was only trying to keep a low profile. Right now Mr. Bowie’s looking forward to spring and summer, just like the rest of us in this part of the world. He’s right on top of the really important issue: getting the garden ready for new catnip plants! He has become a real expert on harvesting, storing and drying catnip. I wonder if I should give up my career as a musician and get started into the catnip business…
In the next post, we’ll talk about “eastern European gangs of thieves” and how Mr. Bowie deals with it.
Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.
Is It Safe?
Safety check. Ensuring that the garden area is safe after the gardeners team left requires careful planning and monitoring. Materials such as sand and wood chips are soft enough to fall asleep. Provide some shade, cool water and treats in the play space, and an espresso machine for the human. Keep children and other little creatures safe indoors.
Thank goodness forecasters say summer is here to stay!
Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.
PS: The catnip plants are in a safe place.
Not Amused
I really want to go out! Mr. Bowie is not amused at all because he has to stay inside. A gardeners team is taking care of the annual garden clean up. Big and dangerous machines are making a lot of noise outside. We had to wear ear plugs indoor to enjoy our espresso and treats… Nevertheless we will make up for it tomorrow! Glad the summer is not ending…
Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.
Beautiful Days
It’s another beautiful sunny day! Yesterday 18 degrees Celsius, today 15 degrees. Yesterday, I had ice cream and espresso outside in the garden. Today I had delicious pancakes at Joke’s place, and I met Pritty, Mr. Bowie’s Mom.
This afternoon, Mr. Bowie performed a day time inspection of the garden. I hope that he can approve the new look of the garden without any great difficulty.
Ready for Spring
Getting the garden ready for spring. Spring is the busiest time of year in the garden. It’s also a great time to start planning and preparing your garden. The first and possibly most important spring garden task is to clean up the garden. After you clean up, and before you plant, it’s time to amend the soil.
We could certainly do with a paw, Mr. Bowie…
The Other Side
Why is Mr. Bowie on the other side of the camera? Sometimes working with your camera means that you’re going to have to step out from behind it eventually and try something a little different.
Okay, I introduced the idea of trying something different but I miss you already, Mr. Bowie. Please come back to me…
