  1. Catching that light when the sun is so close to the horizon is hard, at least in my experience. Very nice work. Some of the feeling of Dire Straits Telegraph Road.

  2. For me, your photo is calming. There’s relief and hope. Relief, that we both were able to enjoy this beautiful sunset and hope, that tomorrow, the world might recover from today. We can never loose hope, because I fear that might be the beginning of the end.

I’ve been thinking of you and other Belgians a lot this week. So quiet at Mr. Bowies house. How strange it must be to feel under attack so close to home. A place you felt secure before. It’s unfair that good people of the world are being held hostage by the crazed minority. I think they should come up with some kind of happiness gas and smother them all. MAKE them feel happiness and laugh till they can’t see why they were mad in the first place. Here’s an idea…..

  3. Beautiful photo, Herman! There is an old saying here, “Red sky at night, sailors’ delight”. Good weather and good things to come. I took a photo of the memorial cherry tree garden in spring here recently, and will post later this week. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. These are hard times. The Cats of Salmon Brook Farms all send a big “Meow” to you and Mr. Bowie, honorary member of the Boys of Salmon Brook Farms.

  4. What a perfect photo Herman……The times they are a-changing……but life goes on – just slightly differently and maybe a bit unbalanced but ON. We send you hugs….we send you hope for tomorrow……we understand. Anxious to see Spring in your beautiful yard!!

    Hugs, Pam and Sam

  5. a powerful photograph evoking a strength and a promise of better things to come. Stay strong, you are in our thoughts and prayers. ❤
