I’m okay! Today, I took Mr. Bowie for an annual medical check-up to Frédéric, an experienced and brilliant vet working at Venhei, a Veterinary Hospital. He also performed some medical tests for Mr. Bowie’s comprehensive medical check-up concerning his ear problem. Frédéric ensured me that Mr. Bowie’s health is on track. Replacing Mr. Bowie’s food 6 months ago with a hypoallergenic food seems to have solved the ear problem.

So glad to hear that the new food has cleared the problem and Mr. Bowie is doing well! I recently changed my dog’s food too and it has helped with her allergies as well. That vet’s office is fascinating looking!
Seems like everything in Belgium is so neat and tidy, what a nice vet clinic to arrive at. Mr Bowie looks like he’s not convinced of this at all, HA. My cats really dislike the ride and the visit to the clinic, especially Petals. She’s got a black belt at ‘annoying meowing.’ Fantastic to hear that Mr Bowies ear troubles are finally on the mend. Since you mentioned the Hypoallergenic food that day, I started using Gluten and Dairy free food and Petals has really improved too. She only got sick once since we moved in. She use to be sick daily. So thank you for that idea Herman 😀

The veterinary hospital looks an amazing building, guaranteed to cheer up pets’ anxious humans. Not to be flippant I often think I would prefer to be treated by a vet than a doctor: they have to have such good diagnostic skills. So good that Mr Bowie came through his check up with flying colours.

I go for car rides frequently back and forth to the Marina…I even get in my carrier and wait to go. In my almost 1 1/2 years I’ve only been to the vet once so far, and aside from strange smells and some intrusive groping, it was a bit of a pain in the neck experience. =^,,^=

I laughed at the part of Mr.Bowie recovering after the car ride, that reminds me of my little dog..she is not a fan of the car either and needs a recovery period from it..it’s always traumatic. lol. And i’m happy Mr.Bowie is healthy.

Mr. Bowie, we’re so glad you got a clean bill of health. It’s always scary to take that ride to the doctor man’s house. Hemingway already had his trip but Shakespeare has to go soon and we all know Shakespeare hates to go in the car. It’s just something we fur people have to let our humans do for us so we stay healthy and happy. I hope you got catnip sauce on that vanilla ice cream!! 🙂
