Newsflash #13

Little sick boy. This evening, I rushed to Venhei, a Veterinary Hospital. An occasional episode of vomiting is normal in most cats, but Mr. Bowie kept vomiting for several hours. Mr. Bowie got a medical check-up by Sarah, another experienced and brilliant vet working at Venhei. Our little sick boy needed medicines to fight the nausea and his fever. The problem was probably caused by eating something strange in the garden, a bug or another insect. I got to keep an eye on the patient for the next 24 hours. Get well soon, Mr. Bowie!

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

Medical Check Up 2015

Doctor doctor, gimme the news. Today, I took Mr. Bowie for an annual medical check-up to Renate, another experienced and brilliant vet working at Venhei, a Veterinary Hospital. Just like Frédéric last year, she performed some medical tests for Mr. Bowie’s comprehensive medical check-up concerning his ear problem. Renate ensured me that Mr. Bowie’s health is on track.

Right now, it’s important for Mr. Bowie to take time to relax when he’s recovering from the stress after this traumatic event. Vanilla ice cream, Mr. Bowie?

I’m okay! Today, I took Mr. Bowie for an annual medical check-up to Frédéric, an experienced and brilliant vet working at Venhei, a Veterinary Hospital. He also performed some medical tests for Mr. Bowie’s comprehensive medical check-up concerning his ear problem. Frédéric ensured me that Mr. Bowie’s health is on track. Replacing Mr. Bowie’s food 6 months ago with a hypoallergenic food seems to have solved the ear problem.

About Today

Another day at the hospital. Mr. Bowie’s ear surgery went well today. The surgeons were looking for an aural polyp but instead they found another chunk of dirt pushing against the eardrum. It took a while but the chunk was successfully removed and a sample is sent to the laboratory for analysis. They also examined Mr. Bowie’s throat and nose but no problems were found.

For the moment, Mr. Bowie is a bit confused and disoriented but I’ll take good care of him.

I want to thank all of you for your comments, support and tuning in on HoB. I also want to thank Renate and the medical staff at Venhei Veterinary Hospital for their care and support.

A Day at the Hospital

Can you (h)ear me? Today I had an appointment with Renate, a really brilliant veterinarian at Venhei, a Veterinary Hospital. Mr. Bowie needed an ear examination to identify the cause of the recurring inflammations.

Renate removed a lot of foreign materials such as dirt and other tiny things. The planned exploratory surgery wasn’t necessary.

The examination went well and we got home around noon. Mr. Bowie’s ear problem should be solved.

Oh no! She's coming back...
