The express courier always rings twice. Online shopping is easy and receiving packages is always fun when Mr. Bowie’s around. Yesterday I received Mr. Bowie’s special food. Hill’s Prescription Diet® z/d® Feline Low Sensitivity is a complete and balanced food that provides all the nutrition Mr. Bowie needs, and it keeps his ear problem under control.

But wait, it seems that there was a little surprise in the box… The PURRfect Feather Bouncer! It’s a classic cat toy and Mr. Bowie goes absolutely wild over this toy.

  1. Our kitties love packages left on the doorstep. When we ordered a new mattress that came compressed in a big box. The delivery man had not taken his dolly from under the box before the cats were up and lying on top of the box. The Science Diet blends for certain conditions are rally good. We fed Stretch K/D for his kidneys.

    • A giant mattress box… the ultimate dream for cats!

I’m highly content about the Z/D diet food. Bowie is on this food for almost 5 months now, and the ear problems didn’t came back so far… Okay, I have to give him special ear drops medication twice a week and clean his ear once a week with an ear cleaning lotion but we can live with that…

  2. Mr Bowie got good food, a toy, and a box. I guess what Herman gets is a healthy, happy Mr. Bowie.

        • Hi Lavinia. No, it’s kinda difficult to find out according the vet. Bowie had wet food, dry food and some cat treats before the ear problems started.

  3. A box and a surprise! Mr. Bowie must have thought he was in kitty heaven. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Oh yes, he had a great day, as always. Being a cat in this house must feel like heaven, I guess…

  4. A happy day for everyone. My kitty gets Hills dental diet and my dog has the canine equivalent. Curious? Why do they both have dental problems? Not enough chocolate? 😉

  5. At work or at play Mr Bowie is so handsome and sweet. I hope his dear ears continue to improve,

    • Bowie neemt de Feather Bouncer overal mee naar toe. Zelfs als hij gaat slapen sleurt hij die stok mee… Ongelooflijk grappig!

  6. Since I read your Post about this Herman, I wanted to find a Hypo Allergenic food for Petals. She’s had tummy trouble ever since we adopted her. I’m in the process of weaning them off the old food by mixing in a little more new food everyday. It’s a brand called ‘Blue’. It’s grain free, with fish proteins. She’s only thrown up twice in over a week, so maybe I’m on to something. Blossum doesn’t like it at all though. Is this Prescription Diet Gluten free Herman? Really nice of them to send food with the new toy box and bouncy feather stick 😀

    • Hi Boomdee! I just checked the label but there’s no info about the gluten thing. Concerning Petals, maybe you should get some food advice from the vet…??
      Bowie says “Meow!”

      • Hi Herman and Mr Bowie, my Vet recommended ‘Sensitive’ tummy food. But our problem continues. Sure appreciate you looking at your food label and letting me know, xoK

  7. Has Herman had the experience of chasing a red (any color will do) laser pointer. It is a great deal of fun. The laser can be set us in a rotating small fan or other devise so that it always points over Herman’s head and he might jump at that silly dot of color for hours. If nothing else, it wears my feline friend out after a couple hours and he’s ready for a good long nap and I can work in peace.

  8. Adore the photos and Hill’s Prescription Diet® k/d keeps our 17 year old ticking along beautifully.
