12/21

SAD, again. December 21 is the shortest day of the year in this part of the world. This day will boost my mental energy because the days themselves will only keep getting longer. This thought helps me to fight my SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). I need to go outside and enjoy my walks in the sun. And have espressos. And chocolate.

Get up, Sir Jimi! Don’t feel sad, spring is just around the corner, well kinda…

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

Just A Quick Note

4 Sec! Looking after number one, Mr. Bowie? It started 3 days ago, the sun will be up for a few seconds longer each day. Why does it make me feel so good?

Happy Holidays, my dear friends and followers!

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

Snow Dome

New mail from Australia! Mr. Bowie received a letter from his Aunt Sharon. Sharon lives in Australia and she’s a devoted HoB follower. Her letter contained a beautiful gift from the Australian Outback: a lovely snow dome. A good natural medicine to fight our upcoming SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

Thank you so much, Sharon. Wishing you all the best. Mr. Bowie says “Meow!”

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

Summer Is Gone

Dusty sings ‘And it looks like the summer is over.’ Over recent days the temperature dropped below 20 degrees Celsius and my seasonal affective disorder (SAD) kicked in. Summertime sadness. Winter blues. Nelly sings ‘All good things come to an end.’ So true.

I’m going to miss having breakfast and coffee outside on a beautiful morning. Just like last Sunday, when my sister joined me for a ristretto espresso. Inside the house, Mr. Bowie woke up from his nap and asked if he could join us for treats. Thank goodness Mr. Bowie helps me to get through this SAD story.
