How to Enjoy Spring

Spring is finally here! The spring weather brings forth renewal and rebirth just as the promise of Easter brings you chocolate eggs. One more thing: donโ€™t forget to brush and feed your cat.

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

    • Jimi loves to roll over in the sand and dirt. Mr. Bowie didn’t lower his standards but hey, he was a British Shorthair… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. Oh dearie me Jimi – Mr. Herman is going to have quite a time giving you the brush off! Teddy absolutely LOVES being brushed (thankfully). I bet Jimi was enjoying a little nap in the sun. We have about 80% Spring here finally. Herman I hope you have a brush for Jimi handy AND a bite of Belgian chocolate handy for YOU!

    Hugs, Pam

    • Hi Pam. Thank goodness Jimi loves being brushed. He likes to roll over in the sand and dirt. We’re enjoying the sunny spring days right now and we’re looking forward to summer.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my dear friend! Jimi sends his regards!

  2. That’s I nice load of dirt to bring in the house. Jimi is demonstrating perfect cat-like behavior.

    • Oh yes, it gives me a good feeling to see he’s really acting as a cat… But I keep wondering what’s so funny about rolling around in the sand and dirt…

      • That’s how kitties get oil out of the fur. They roll in the dirt and then lick themselves clean. Kitties think we are silly for taking showers and wasting water, when there is plenty of dirt for us to roll in.

  3. Jimi, we have some predecessors who loved rolling around outside. One, Madison, was an all white cat, who ended up looking like a totally brown cat. Hope you had fun. • Mr. Bowie didn’t roll around in the dirt, not once but Jimi really loves to do it. And he also enjoys brushing him afterwards…
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. Jimi sends his regards!

    • Hi Hedy. Thanks for your kind comment and glad you liked the post!
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

  4. We’ve had strong winds to usher in Spring … and passing snowflakes.

You’re lucky to have Peter Rabbit leave you chocolate eggs for Easter. It seems he missed us. I hope it’s not a naughty or nice thing. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hi David. It’s a local tradition in this part of the world to get (too) many chocolade eggs on Easter. But you won’t hear me complaining… ๐Ÿ˜‰
Jimi was also lucky because Peter left some delicious cat treats…

    • Hi Charles. Oh yes, Jimi loves to roll around outside and waiting patiently to get brushed afterwards…
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

    • Hi Patricia. Mr. Bowie didn’t roll around in the dirt and sand. But Jimi loves to do that. He also loves to take a nap in the sunshine. Mr. Bowie preferred to sleep in the shadow.

    • Hahaha… Oh yes, it’s very important to feed our cats!
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday, my friends!

    • Hi Polly. Thank you so much for your kind comment. Looks like Jimi needs a little brushing indeed. And he loves to get brushed…

Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

    • Hi Christine. Maybe he feels something like what I feel having my espresso and chocolate? ๐Ÿ˜‰
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday, my dear friend!

  5. Jimi looks like he enjoyed every minute of his roll in the garden! Glad to hear you both had a good Easter with lots of chocolate for you and cat treats for Jimi. Have a wonderful week ahead, dear friend!

    • Hi Lavinia. Glad you liked this post and thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m always looking forward to see you on the blog, my dear friend.
We’re having a lot of warm sunny spring days and a few days ago, we both enjoyed the vanilla ice cream in the garden. But Jimi preferred some extra treats actually. He loves to stay outside, much more compared with last year.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, Lavinia. Jimi sends his regards to the cats of the Farm!

  6. Happy spring Belgium boys! I have yet to get into the garden to do any clean up, I wish I had a dedicated assistant like Jimi ๐Ÿ˜˜ My own Jimmy is hiring someone to manage the tiny wee splotch of lawn we have, so that’s one thing off the list. We’re going to spread the joy and hire out as much as possible this spring ๐Ÿ˜„ Enjoy the fresh air my friends, it’s so nice to get outside again ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—xK

    • Hi Kelly. Thank you so much for your kind comment! I hired a gardener for cleaning up the garden and making it ready for spring/summer. But Jimi kept an eye to see everything was done in a proper way… We’re so happy we’re finally heading in the good direction. Jimi loves to stay outside the whole day and I love to join him.

Wishing you a great week ahead, my dear friend! Jimi sends his regards!

  8. Jimi likes spring as much as you do, just different activities, like rolling in the dirt. He is such a sweet boy and I’m so glad he and you found each other. Enjoy every minute of your spring, your favorite time! And be well dear.

    • Thank you so much for your kind comment and re-tweet!
We both are enjoying spring outside a lot. And I’m so happy to see how Jimi became such a sweet and adorable friend. It maybe took a long time to get connected but now we’re both so happy that we found each other.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and happy gardening, my dear friend!

    • Oh yes, no doubt about that! And Jimi loves to get a good brushing… and a treat afterwards!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Jimi sends his regards!

  9. Hi my cat friend, Herman, sorry I’m a bit behind with scrolling down all the WP posts, but as always I am looking forward to Yours. It seems like Jimi is truly fully enjoying live with you and all his surrounding and treatments ( like brushing) , enjoying the spring times in it’s fullness, knowing that summer won’t be that far anymore. Moshu is sending many MEOWS over the ocean to Jimi. Stay happy my friend

    • Hi Cornelia. Glad to see you back on the blog. Hope you’re ok!
We’re enjoying the warm spring days. The gardener replaced all the dead plants and planted a new tree. It’s good to be outside. Jimi really loves to stay outside almost the whole day… and occasionally to roll in the dirt and sand.

Wishing you a wonderful week, my friend. Jimi sends his regards to Moshu!

      • Thank you Herman for your kind response. I know I’ve been pretty absent from the blog, especially posting myself, it’s just that I rarely have the time and also I haven’t gone anywhere since a long time, so nothing to blog about, well maybe except cats, since I have become a cat sitter as well, besides other jobs than photography. Well I wish you happy times in your garden filled with sunshine along with ice cream and lots of espresso’s. Moshu thanks Jimi.
