What is a chairman? Someone, especially a cat, who is in charge of a garden, a meeting or directs the work of a committee or an organisation. Meanwhile, new outdoor chairs arrived and new work planned in the garden. Something big is about to happen. I will soon be updating my blog.

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

  1. Oh boy! How exciting! Can’t wait to see what you and Jimi have planned in your beautiful yard. He makes a mighty find Chairman. Do we get a hint??????

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  2. This is very exciting! A mystery! Blog update?! Hello Jimi πŸ‘‹. We are busy in the garden as well, but have not been very good about sharing our progress. There is a new item coming from “H. Potter” (?!) , a bit of art for the flower bed that we look forward to showing you. 🌞🌼🌷

    • Jimi gives me the right orders to get all the work done. And afterwards we’re having treats and espressos…

  3. I’m sure that the Chairman will be totally in charge of this new work, and that he will do an amazing job. Don’t keep us in suspense too long! Enjoy your garden, you and Jimi both.

    • Well, it’s a very stressful situation right now, with Jimi pulling all the strings out there and telling me what to do… πŸ˜‰
I’ll keep you informed and post more probably the following week. Thank you so much for the tweet!

    • Hi Leah. Glad you liked this post! But please keep in mind, it’s very stressful when a cat’s giving you orders and tells you what to do…

    • Hi Lemony. The Garden Chairman may look cute and adorable, but it’s also very stressful for me to keep him satisfied and follow his orders… πŸ˜‰

    • Hi Patricia. It’s very stressful for me right now with Jimi on the Chair giving me orders. Maybe I can bribe him with extra treats…

  4. Literally, Jimi is taking his position as “chair man”, better to say “chair cat” that might be a new vocabulary in Webster Dictionary , very well considered . Good job Jimi, you are in charge now. Moshu is very proud of you and she can’t wait for your updates .

    • Hi Cornelia. I’m in a difficult and stressful position right now, with ChairCat Jimi watching over my shoulder. Let’s hope we can finish the planned work soon and we all will be very happy…
Jimi sends his regards to Moshu! Have a great week, my friend!

    • Hi Pamela. Glad you liked the post. I’ll keep you informed about what’s going to happen (hopefully this week).
      Wishing you a pleasant week!

We’re looking forward to warmer days and summer.

Jimi sends his regards (he loves sitting on that chair). Wishing you all the best, my friends!

    • Hi Lavinia. Oh yes, Jimi loves sitting on that chair and giving me orders. I think I need more treats to bribe him and keep him satisfied… πŸ˜‰
Hope you’re all doing ok, my dear friends! Jimi sends his regards to all the cats on the Farm!

        • I just read your mail on Doug’s blog. I was crying when I was at the end of the post. But it was the right thing to do, although it was very hard and painful for you. Little Hope will for ever be in your heart, Lavinia.
Sending you hugs. You’re in my thoughts, my dear friend.

    • Hi Kelly. Meetings with ChairCat Jimi are never boring, especially when we’re outside. But I do have to give him a treat on time… πŸ˜‰
I hope to bring another spicing post later this week.

Have a great week, my friend! Jimi sends his regards!

    • Hi David. No, it’s not a blog update, sorry for the confusion. It’s an update about the garden later this week. We just want some more comfort outside… πŸ˜‰

I’m working with the new block editor but I still don’t like it and I don’t want to dive deeper in that app. I’m just using the basic functions…

      • A refresh of your garden retreat.

I don’t like the block editor at all. WP says it’s more intuitive than the classic editor, but I would say it’s the other way around. My photography business site at Pixieset uses a block editor, but it is far more simpler than the WP version. It doesn’t try to pack every conceivable feature into it like WP has done.

        • I don’t understand it either… To me the classic editor was so much easier to use, and much faster.

    • Hi Julie. Glad you liked the post!
If all goes well the work should start tomorrow morning but there where some problems a few weeks ago so I’m keeping my fingers crossed this night…

Jimi seems to like the new chairs and he loves to jump on them to keep me company. He’s such a sweet boy…

    • Hi Micheline. Thank you so much for your kind comment.
I’ll post a new story about what was going on this week in the garden. And the chairman will also be present…
