  1. Coffee pudding – oh boy. Never had that but it sounds wonderful – a blob of whipped cream on top maybe. Jimi looks like he’s enjoying his sunny nap. My Teddy is doing the same right now in the foyer. I love to watch sleeping cats…..wish I could sleep that well! Enjoy your pudding and your day Herman.

Hugs, Pam (and a sleeping Ted)

    • Hi Pam. Thanks for the whipped cream idea… Why didn’t I think about this…?? But hey, I enjoy some chocolate flakes instead! 😉
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my dear friend!

    • So true. This puts a big smile on my face and yes, the coffee pudding was delicious! 🙂
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my friend!

    • Thank goodness Jimi doesn’t like coffee pudding, he prefers vanilla flavour…
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! Jimi sends his regards!

    • Hahaha… unfortunately, there was no place to join him in the sofa… 😦
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend in company of the sweet LC!

    • Glad you liked the post, Christine!
Thank you so much for the tweet. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, my dear friend!

    • This pudding is so delicious and I believe it’s from Danone/Danette.
I wish I could have some naps just like Jimi…
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend, Patricia!

  2. So much magic in Belgium today ! Including sunshine puddles on your tummy. I’ve never seen ‘coffee pudding’ here 😁 and can’t imagine how that would taste but I like that they present you with a kitty before you indulge. Take care my friend xK

    • Hi Kelly. We had a great day, yesterday! Thank goodness there’s more pudding in the fridge… 😉
We’re getting warm spring weather from tomorrow with temperatures going to 20°C. So, this sounds like having ice cream outside in the garden. Looks like there’s a good week ahead of us in this part of the world.

Enjoy your Sunday, my Canadian friend! Jimi sends his regards!

  3. Coffee pudding! Yes! Yes! Yes! And I agree the whipped cream would be an excellent improvement, onespoiledcat!

Just for the record, you posted in color today, and I coincidentally have one in the works that I’m posting in black & white!

Regardless, it is wonderful to see Jimi in color. Though he is a grey cat, cats have lovely shades of the dominant color. Jimi is very pretty in his many shades! He looks really happy in his sunny spot.

    • Hi Doug. It was kinda funny to see your B&W post today while I was going full colour in my latest post. The photo’s were originally in B&W but you couldn’t see the effect of the sunshine so I picked the original colour photograph. And the coffee pudding also looked more yummy in colour… 😉

Enjoy your Sunday. my friend! Jimi sends his regards!

PS: unfortunately, there’s no whipped cream in my fridge. I have to go shopping tomorrow… 😉

      • As the French say, “Quelle horreur!”A proper kitchen with no whipping cream when you have a need to dress that luscious coffee pudding! I hope you had more pudding for the whipped cream later! I agree, that is a perfect way to improve that dessert!

I went black & white for the reverse reason you went color. It’s odd how bloggers will have coincidences like this.

    • Hi Lavinia. Unfortunately, there was no whipped cream in the house… I definitely have to go shopping this week…
The Covid-19 situation is getting worse again and we’re facing new stronger measures. The vaccination is going so so slow and I’ll have to wait until June if I’m lucky to get my vaccin. So, coffee pudding is a good thing to find some comfort… 😉

Enjoy your Sunday, my dear friend! Jimi sends his regards!

    • Glad you liked this post, thank you! It’s so true. In these strange and weird times it’s a pleasure to enjoy such littles things that happen unexpectedly.
Hope you’re having a great Sunday, Polly!

  4. Ohhh, you have coffee pudding there. I am so jealous! That must taste amazing. Sweet peaceful Jimi sleeping in the sun, that is wonderful. Be well dear and enjoy the beginning of your spring!

    • Thank you so much! And yes, that coffee pudding is so so delicious. I used to make it myself in the past for me and my Dad from a secret recipe that belonged to my Mother. But recently I’m buying some jars in the local store.

We’re having warm spring days this week so we’ll spend a lot of time outside I guess. I’m going to buy some catnip to see how Jimi will react to it…

Thanks for posting the tweet, much appreciated, my dear friend. Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

    • Hi Cornelia. You got it right, it’s espresso pudding. So delicious…!! While my Dad was alive I made it myself based on my Mom’s secret recipe.
Stay safe and have a great week, my friend! Jimi sends his regards!

    • Hi Jill. The coffee (espresso) pudding is so delicious. There’s always a few jars in stock for the moment I need an emotional boost…
We’re having nice warm spring days. So happy we’re out of the winter and heading for summer.
Wishing you a great week ahead!

  5. Hi Herman, what a nice idea, the smiling cat inside the pudding jar! And Jimi is well and enjoying himself, that’s good. It always reassures me when my two cats are back safe and well from their exploration trips.
    Wish you a pleasant evening.

    • Hi Heila. I always like an extra surprise while having a delicious dessert… 😉
I’m also happy when Jimi returns back home from his walks outside in the garden. And I enjoy his company on the sofa while I’m watching a movie on tv.

      Wishing you a great week!
