B.C. Fan Club

Let’s play ball. I just joined a fan club called The Belgian Cats. However, it’s not about cats, it’s about basketball. The Belgium women’s national basketball team represents Belgium in international basketball competitions for women. They are also known as ‘The Belgian Cats’. And they have a great shop for the fans…

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

    • Wel, het gaat tenminste toch ook over katten, niet? Maar tegenwoordig is het uitkijken met wat je zegt in de sociale media… 🙂

  1. I think coffee mugs and t-shirts with Mr. Bowie’s picture would be a great idea!
In the meantime, thank you for supporting women’s sports. Not a sports fan myself but I do support the women. Maybe someday they will make the kind of money the men do.

    • Hi Misha! There’s a lot of discussion going on in Belgium about the fact that Belgian professional sport men (soccer and cycling) make too much money in comparison with the women. It’s definitely time for a change!

  2. I am nptmuch of a basketball fan. I think Being short made me dislike it when playing in school. But i like to support women’s sports. I also like things Belgian! So I will check out their store. I too am waiting for T-shirt weather. May you and Mr. Bowie have a good day

    • Hi Cornelia! I think they could use Mr. Bowie as a mascot, or maybe put his picture on their shirts! 😉
Have a nice weekend, my friend!

    • Hi Marc-André! Love that t-shirt too! Can’t wait to wear it so let the spring and summer begin… 😉
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

  3. I love the T-shirt, Herman! All the best to you and Mr. Bowie. 🙂

The cherry tree garden continues to come up in spite of snow. We had another snowstorm this morning, which is melting rapidly as the sun came out while it was still snowing. I tried to get some photos of that, and hope they came out.

    • Hi Lavinia! Glad you liked the post and thank you so much for your concern!

Winter is back in town in this part of the world. Temperatures stay below zero degrees (Celsius) day and night. Mr. Bowie stays inside and shows no interest of going outside. But we all know he’s a very wise cat, just like Mr. Nano…
Although it still feels and looks like winter, your garden seems to come alive. The first crocus of the season looks very beautiful! Looking forward to see new photographs of the cherry tree garden this year, my favourite garden on the other side of the world… 🙂

Mr. Bowie says “Meow!” and sends his regards to the Cat Crew of the farm!

  4. Hi Herman. I’m sorry to seem late. I had commented when you posted, but the WP gremlins seem to have been munching… It’s so nice to see how kitties enjoy the sunshine. Crystal had her check up yesterday, got a shot of new medicine… and today she doesn’t feel well. Sigh… Sending Mr. Bowie and you a big hug.

    • No problemo, Teagan! So sorry to hear Crystal doesn’t feel well. Wishing her all the best and hope she’s getting better soon.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Mr. Bowie says “Meow!” and sends his regards to Crystal!

  5. Hi Herman. Sorry I am not visiting these days. Bear with me please.
It is interesting about your team, as we too have a hurling (men) team that they call Kilkenny Cats 😉

    • Hi Inese! No problemo, glad you’re back! Hope everything is ok with you and wishing you all the best, my friend.
Just wondering, do the Kilkenny Cats have a beautiful t-shirt too? 😉

      • Haha Herman, i don’t know how beautiful, they are black and orange stripes, but you are not supposed to say “orange” to a Kilkenny person. It is ” amber” 😉
