Newsflash #25

I’m free! This image appears blurry or out of focus. I guess this is also the way how Mr. Bowie sees the world through his healing eye right now. I removed his cone this morning and Mr. Bowie went for a stroll in the garden.

I’m free-I’m free
And freedom tastes of reality
I’m free-I’m free
And I’m waiting for you to follow me

“I’m Free” – The Who

I want to thank you for all the support and concern. That was very kind of you. Mr. Bowie says “Meow!”

Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.

  1. Cloud and the girls, as well as myself, say hurray! Getting to go out must have been a special treat for Mr. Bowie. I’m glad he will get some time outside before the cold weather sets in.

  2. Yessss! He got rid of the cone and got to go out in the garden, one of his favorite things to do. He must be so happy, and you must be so relieved, after caring for the sweet guy thru all this.

  3. When I saw “I’m Free!” I immediate thought of the Who. Nothing like the freedom that comes after being coned and bound. Enjoy the freedom and good health Mr. Bowie.

  4. Mr. Bowie I am so happy that you are at last able to explore your garden again and I do hope that your eye is absolutely GREAT now. You have been through so much – you’re my hero!

    Love, Teddy

  5. Paws up for being rid of the cone of shame! I take so many blurry photos that are otherwise great, I’m gonna start posting them anyway and saying this is how I see things. 😁 so glad you’re buddy bestie is on the mend!

  6. This is the photo that I was looking forward to seeing. Now he can eat and sleep comfortably and even go outside in the garden. Let the healing process begin. Yay for Mr Bowie!!!

  7. “Heaven, I’m in Heaven and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak… la la” Wonderful, I feel like dancing through your garden to celebrate Mr Bowie! Mine is currently being snowed on but no matter, I’m just happy you’re ok x Boom

  8. You are a very strong cat, Mr. Bowie. I hope your eye heals completely soon. Maybe you can send out some of your strong cat magic to my daughter’s cat, wherever she may be. Meow Meow (named by a young boy) has a great and loving spirit. She never wanders far from the house (on 15 acres), but the last time she was seen was yesterday morning. This is not normal. Worried because there are coyotes here in Texas. Maybe she has climbed up a tree. The search is on……. Praying for a happy ending.
