Introducing Jos. A neighbour’s cat from my friend decided to move into his house. I think they have to work something out with the neighbours because the kitty decided to stay for good… However, Spotty, their own senior cat would love the see the new kid leave the house. She doesn’t like to be chased by this junior cat. For the time being, they call him Jos, Flemish for Joseph.
Enjoy this beautiful day, my friends, wherever you are. Peace, love and understanding.
Oh, what a gorgeous fellow! Sometimes you have no say in who moves in – we have a fellow who moved in five months ago and all our other cats adore him.
He is really so gorgeous. I have seen him a couple of times and couldn’t stop playing with the little guy. So lovely…
What a pretty little one! Normally there is not much to work out, when a cat decides to stay…
Well, we all know you can’t argue with a cat…
Cute! Did Mr. B take him under his paw yet?
I still have to introduce him to Mr. B… 😉
Oh what a treat! 😀
True! 🙂
Jos is a cutie! I hope the senior kitty will learn to co-exist with this little guy – he should liven things up in his household……….adorable – wonder what Mr. Bowie will think of him?
Hugs, Pam and Sam
I wonder what Mr. Bowie would do if a little kitty would move into my house…
I often wonder the same relative to Sammy…..it’s tempting but…….. 😉
So tempting, yes… 🙂
Oh wat een mooi poesje, juist een klein tijgertje!
Ja, tijgertjes zie ik het liefst, maar niet tegen Bowie zeggen…
He’s a cute new friend for Mr B,.Herman 🙂
Oh yes, unbelievable how cute the little fellow is…
Diplomacy !
Ha ha… so true!
oooooooo, hopelijk mag Joske blijven ❤ !!!
Er moeten nog onderhandelingen plaatsvinden vrees ik… Als ik zoiets klein zie krijg ik ook steeds zin om een vriendje voor Bowie te zoeken! 😉
Great picture of His Cuteness. He will learn Spotty is not up for play but it will help if your friends give him some active play to tire him out a little. My Cloud wants to play with everybody but Mi Sun soon taught him “Not with me, buster!”
Cats are very smart and sometimes also very stubborn…
Aw – Quite a compliment to be adopted by a cat! 🙂 I hope the old cat can find room in his heart for the kitten. 🙂
Haha… the little one is very popular, so sorry for the old one… 😉
Aw, I hope they become firm friends and enjoy each other’s company 🙂
Oh yes, let’s hope so…
🙂
He is so cute. Cats are wise and sometimes they move to a better home from the reason they only know. We have had now over two years our Kosmo, who just came in and never left.
That’s a sure thing! Cats are very very wise indeed…
Aww, Jos is very attractive. With those beautiful eyes, hopefully Spotty will learn to like him. It might bring new energy to a senior cat to have a young one around. Awww.
The senior cat only wants to sleep and eat. There’s no time or place for a junior cat… 😉
😦 So what will happen?
I’m curious and wondering myself… But the little fellow is so adorable…
Maybe they could just coexist in some kind of harmony. Or, does Mr. Bowie want a sibling?
Oh he is so cute! There’s a charming Japanese book called The Guest Cat all about a neighbor’s cat who moves into the neighbor’s house.
I found the book online, I’m going to check it out. Right now I’m reading ‘The Dalai Lama’s Cat. Love it!
That looks good, I just added it to my list of books, thank you!
You’re welcome, Letizia. I’m sure you’ll like the book. Enjoy!
My Nickel chased Mr. Ferguson for months and terrified him so that he would leap over great gulfs (between the bookcase and refrigerator for instance) to get away. Now they are married. It may take time.
What a great story, very promising for the little guy and the senior cat!
Jos is absolutely adorable. Hope the two kitties work things out. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Thank you, my friends! I think things will work out fine after a while…
Jos is adorable and looks like he’s looking for trouble. We ended up having to get Najar, so Spunk had kitten close to his own age to play with.
Jos can’t stop playing, running around, attacking people… He’s really a wonderful kitty…
Little Jos is beautiful, Herman! Spotty, the older kitty, will take some readjusting to accept the youngster, but it will happen.
All the best to you and Mr. Bowie, today and everyday! Wishing you both sunshine, cat treats, espresso and dark chocolate. 🙂
Thank you, Lavinia! Weatherman says sun for the rest of the week… Yes!
Hope you’ll have a marvellous week too.
Mr. Bowie sends his regards to all the cats of the Crew!
He is a cutie, cats know where they want to live.
Oh yes! Humans should be proud if a kitty moves into their home…
You don’t choose a cat, they choose you. Looks like Jos has made his choice. Such a pretty face, too!
So true! Cats may let you believe you chose them but they know better! 🙂
Jos is a cutie pie and, of course, I love his gray coloring. I hope Jos and the senior cat come to amicable terms as it appears Jos has made his bed in your friend’s home.
I love that grey stripes colouring too. Hoping for a happy evolution too…
So cute! I know don’t tell Mr B I said that! Poor Spotty, will be most put out. I wonder if Mr Bowie will be enamoured with him?
I’m wondering myself what would happen if a new kitty would appear in his house… Guess Mr. Bowie prefers to stay on his own…
That way he doesn’t have to share you 😉
… and his treats! 🙂
Though Spotty doesn’t know it, she’ll adjust to Jos. My Dino was 15 years senior to Miss Egypt when I brought her home. Dino wasn’t so sure about Egypt, but he adjusted to her high activity level.
Victory comes with patience… I guess everybody, humans and cats, needs to have some patience! 😉
He is so CUTE!!!!! XXXX
You should see the little guy in real life… So adorable!
Awwww -😻 What a sweetheart!
Oh yes he is! So adorable… But I’m afraid Mr. Bowie doesn’t agree… 😉
Oh I can imagine he doesn’t! 😸
What a clever little fellow. He just wanted to be where he gets ALL the attention and ALL the treats. A total cutie-pie and I’s say, a keeper too. Jos can just send Spotty a Christmas card. My friend Alys does the same. Her neighbours cat, Mr Mouse, lives at her house. She feeds him, takes him to the vet and her neighbour has never called ?? Kind of weird hey? But Alys loves Mouse so they would be sad if he didn’t stay. x B
Hi Boomdee! What a good idea, sending the neighbours a Christmas card! Thank you!
He looks so full of mischief!!
Haha… you really should see that little fellow in real life! So cute…
Properly cute 😀 Our princess Luna cat is going nuts at the moment chasing a squeaky mouse toy with that same look in her eyes!
They can entertain us so much. What would we do without them? 😉
Maybe sleep through an entire night without having my feet attacked lol 😉
Good night, and good luck! 😉
Gonna need it!!
Jos is a sweetie. I hope the senior cat will soften her heart…
Well, let’s hope so… I’m afraid the little guy is there to stay for good! 😉
Another month and you will see them both cuddling together 🙂
Probably, they will work something out I guess… 🙂
🙂
Definitely looks like he could be trouble 🙂 (But very cute)
Oh yes, he is a real cutie…
What a cute fello
You should see him today, he’s much bigger now…
