Under My Paw

Under pressure. Stress affects everyone, cats and humans, young and old and is a completely normal reaction that all human beings will experience from time to time when faced with situations that they feel under pressure in. Deal with stress effectively and quickly: take regular breaks, get outside, go for a walk, learn to relax like your cat. And have an espresso with chocolate.

Under my paw
She’s the sweetest, hmmm, pet in the world

    • Thank you, Annie!
Haha… it opens a secret place with cat treats and dark chocolate for the human! Got to figure out a Wi-Fi connection to the espresso machine, though…

  1. Don’t press the panic button…..today will be a better day……I’m SURE of it! Love that photo and Annie’s question – does the espresso machine start right up? Inquiring minds must know!

  2. Oh wouldn’t that be delightful, treat boxes and expresso machines….. You made me think of David Bowie and Freddie Mercury “Under Pressure” with your title though, that will be my day today at work, I will be thinking of Mr.Bowie’s ladybug button for sure🙂

  3. It’s good that you’re studying Mr. Bowie’s relaxation techniques. From some of the pictures you’ve posted of him, he sure does know how to relax. One can learn a lot from a cat.

    • Thank you, Ellie! I’m in the studio right now, in company of Mr. Bowie. Maybe we should record a cover like ‘Under Pressure’. I remember playing live a Rolling Stones cover of ‘Get Off of My Cloud’ years ago, when I played keys in a band. Unfortunately we didn’t record it…

  4. Oh man! You are getting good at adapting words to songs. Love the photo. There there is Billy Joel’s Pressure adapted to the cat:

You have to learn to pace yourself
    Pressure
    You’re just like everybody else
    Pressure
You can only run so far
    So good
But you will come to a place
Where the only thing you see
Is a hungry cat in your face
    You’ll have to deal with
    Pressure

    Have a great day!

  5. Odd coincidence you used the phrase Under Pressure (song by David Bowie and Freddie Mercury) just before the sad news of David Bowie’s passing.

    • Oh yes… everything feels weird today. My previous post was about David Bowie’s new album, ‘Black Star’. A few days later I posted one about Bowie’s passing away. So weird and strange…

  6. He’s the sweetest, pet in the world……..true that. Oh them Stones just keep on rolling.

I’m also a big Queen fan. ‘Under Pressure’ continues to get heavy play on my iPod. I dig all the scatting in-between versus and the finger snapping and clapping up front. So original and catchy. Freddy Mercury was a brilliant, creative, wonder soul. Ahead of his time and stolen from us so early. The brilliant ones are going, going, gone Herman.

  7. PS. Over at Youtube now rocking with Queen. Came across this performance by George Michael at the FM Tribute Concert (Wembley in 92) Maybe you were there? Anyways, feeling the love with the crowd. What a view from stage. For you and Mr Bowie:
