Winter Amnesia

Fantastic day today. I had breakfast and lunch outside. Mr. Bowie kept a low profile today. He appears to be suffering from a mysterious condition known as “Winter Amnesia.” Guess it was already too hot outside for my furry friend.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to be in the garden, reading a book. I’ll deal with recording the drum track when it’s time to deal with it. I have to admit I’m fabulous at relaxing.

  1. You have a lot of cat in you! Our cats would like us to sit around and “relax” more with them;) Our cats like to find shady spots under plants when they are not lounging on the deck under the canopy.

        • It’s a touch technique that allows a cat to merge his or her mind with the essence of another’s mind purely by using specialized contact paw-points–in a humanoid. Guess cats learned it from Mr. Spock in Star Trek.

  2. Bravo 🙂 channel that inner kitty i do all the time..i am perfecting my draping over the back of the couch…not as elegant or fluffy but entertaining nonetheless 🙂 Fozziemum

      • How lovely! My dog and I have been enjoying the beautiful Spring weather as well. It feels so good to be in the sun again (and to be gardening again!).

  3. Those who know how to relax live longer and in the end have time to do much more. Even if it’s just staying cool in the jungle shade. I’m afraid I’m with Mr. Bowie it’s already too hot here after about nine in the morning. Tell him he’s adorable as a lurking “tiger”.

  4. Gibbs and Ziva would love to have a spot like that in the garden. They think Bowie has it “made in the shade.” I think it’s more like Herman has it made and Bowie is along for the ride. 😉

    • Well… it looks like you’re so right about this! 19:31 pm and still sunshine… guess it’s time for ice cream! Isn’t life grand? 🙂

  5. All things in their own time Herman……that drum track can wait when there’s fresh air and beautiful weather to be enjoyed (or a nice shady spot under a plant if you’re a cat!).

    • I’m taking a musical break for a few days. I’ve been working non stop in the studio last weeks. Time to join Mr. Bowie outside in the sunshine…

  6. There is no better way to spend an afternoon than in a beautiful garden. Reading, or ………just sitting there. For you, and Mr. Bowie both. Enjoy every minute!

  7. Cats are the masters or mastresses, of practicing how to relax in life and embrassing the moment. I certainly have learned a lot from my Moshu, taking time out on the couch, of course with a piece of hazelnut dark chocolate from Belgium.
