You must accept either A, or B. A dilemma is a problem offering two possibilities, neither of which is practically acceptable. I want to record a drum track in real time without looping. Mr. Bowie wants to take a nap without earplugs.

  1. Timing (notes and the silence between notes) is everything. Mr. Bee rules now and you practice quietly in the next room. You record full-on later. In the Grand Scheme of All Things in the Galaxy, the stepped time-delay may be perceived as negligible. And it may even be a boon, in ways that may emerge later. Down from the Mountain, Mr. Bugs speaks.

    • Sure! Mr. Bowie doesn’t like me tweaking synths… He often complains about it. He doesn’t mind piano sounds, acoustic or electric.

  2. Mr. Bowie rules….? Maybe he could take his nap in another part of the house, or maybe your drums get really loud. He looks like he is considering this complicated situation.

  3. If you would drizzle catnip on the drums , he might go for it to paly the drums and he might not and rolling up , like a cinnamon roll, in his beautiful basket and pray for and to come soon, before his dinner time.

    • Well, in the end I’m recording a song without drums… That’s how life goes if there’s a cat involved!

  4. LOL πŸ˜€ . Mr Bowie is more agreeable than Simon about music (Simon is very picky) so I have no worries for you. Simon has also been a pain lately–pouting loudly. I don’t know why. I’m not doing something right. πŸ˜€ Good luck… πŸ™‚

    • Guess Simon needs extra attention, or extra cat treats…!! Tell him Mr. Bowie said “Meow!”
