The light in your eyes. Ladies and gentlemen, nothing in this world is certain any more, except the fact that cats love tunnels. So, my friends, no matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully it’s the light in Mr. Bowie’s eyes and not a train.

    • It was very dark in the living room and I didn’t use a flashlight on the camera.
And… there were cat treats waiting for Mr. Bowie!

  1. Thank you for the laugh and wisdom, Herman. I needed that. With two clients who have had pets pass this week, and this other sick kitty not looking good, I will definitely look for Mr Bowie’s eyes instead of what feels like an oncoming train!

    • Glad this post made you feel better, Debra. Sorry to read about the hard times you’re going through. Wishing you all the best!

  2. Hahaha! Beautiful picture of Mr. Bowie! My moms have a sign on the refrigerator that says, “Due to recent cutbacks, the light of the end of the tunnel has been turned off.”

    • Thank you, Carol! Love that sign on the refrigerator. Maybe I could hang up that sign where I keep my chocolate… 😉

  3. I agree with Mark Andre, an amazing shot of Mr. Bowie’s eyes. Have you and Mr. Bowie seen the Cat Tunnel Sofa invented by a young Korean man? I think it is more for shy cats than outgoing types like Mr. Bowie.

  4. We have a tunnel with LED lights that come on when someone touches it! I think it is time for another battery. We use it to hold open a popular bedroom door, so the cats can go inside and out. In the past, the door would shut trapping them inside!

    • Please, don’t put that idea about the tunnel and the bedroom door into Mr. Bowie’s head! 😉 But I love a tunnel with LED lights inside, though…

  5. Mr. Bowie, I have not seen you in a while, and wow, I just really do apologize! You don’t seem to be turning up in my reader, unless that is, your human is posting at times I don’t use my reader. Tunnels are the best! My cats have um, well, gee … can I be honest here? They (the nasties) have torn the bottom of my couches to make hammocks out of the bottom. And then they crawl back in there, just to hang out. Do you believe that? Yup, true! Your tunnel is nothing compared to my shredded poor couch bottoms. (((HUGS))) Amy

    • Hi Amy! Mr. Bowie’s tunnel is already 4 years old in still in a very good condition. He loves hanging out there or he’s using it as a hiding place.

  6. At the end of the tunnel , instead of the light, there is ALWAYS chocolate and espresso waiting for you and licky treats for Mr. Bowie. Well actually that is THE LIGHT ! Have an enlightend week you both full of everything.

  7. Look at you crawling thru that tunnel ! Blossum loves the tunnel, especially if I try and tickle her feet from underneath. I think she thinks, it’s a mouse. Do you ever invite your mouse friends over to play in the tunnel? xo B

    • I’m always poking the tunnel at different places with my fingers. But I got to be fast to avoid some very sharp claws…

  8. Great shot.. I don’t have a cat but would love to get one…chocolate! yes, Chocolate at the end of any tunnel would be a great idea (well great for humans..no so for cats)…great message!
