If a catnip high only lasts a short time, you’d better have a good supply! I remember you don’t like cold weather and neither does Mr. Bowie. MaChatte soon won’t want to go out any more cos her feet get cold on the ground. Drink more espresso, Herman. That fixes everything, doesn’t it?

Our indian summer is just starting — yesterday and today have been beautiful, warm and sunny without a cloud in the sky either day. The International Balloon Fiesta started today, but if any balloons flew this morning they went south, because I didn’t see a single balloon. Maybe tomorrow.

“Happy” is where we find it…..catnip, espresso, dark chocolate, fires in the fireplace – but I agree that it’s almost ALWAYS found in warm weather so we’ll all just wish it returns QUICKLY. This morning in Virginia it’s 35 degrees…..a long way from warm.

We live in a four season area and dark, dark chocolate helps all year long. Keep a good supply on hand, along with the catnip and…spring will come again.

It looks as though Mr. Bowie knows the bricks will be cold and icy all too soon. I get the same sort of face when someone finds they can’t sit in the windowsill and smell the outside through the screen any more because I have closed the inside window against the cold.
