568Bummer. Mr.Bowie’s Gotcha Day Party for 2 p.m. CEST on Monday has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. Thunderstorms, lightning and hail are forecast for this part of the world.

Should I open my presents early, on Monday? Do I really have to wait so long?

  1. Gosh Mr. Bowie….seems a shame to have to pass on the presents when they’re right there ready to open…..we vote for OPEN NOW! Sorry you have icky weather….we have clouds and cool temps here. Where did Summer go?

    Hugs, Sammy

  2. Clouds, rain, and cool temps here too. Open at least one present. You need to console yourself. We can’t have Herman and Mr.Bowie all disappointed.

  3. You can open presents then and have the real celebration when the weather clears up! I hope it doesn’t get bad there. Way back when weather was predicted by looking at the sky, grandma used to say; Hold on to your hat, girl, there’s a storm coming.

  4. Happy Gotcha Day Mr. Bowie. I would open the presents first and party later. BTW. I just noticed you are almost exactly the same age as my Chris but his Gotcha Day is in November.

  5. Oh NO! Hail is not good for birthdays OR gardens. I hope your dad covers up your beloved catnip crop and the garden isn’t too busted up. Silly weather can not stop the joy, only the candles from staying lit. I think you should get twice the presents if you have to wait 😀

  6. Just because the party is postponed you should still get to open your presents. In fact, that’s an even better reason! It will still be your Gotcha Day after all. Hope you can join us on Monday for our 2nd Blogoversary. Have a great weekend. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
