Bright Sunshiny Day

IMG_6195

I can see clearly now the rain is gone. Ascension Thursday commemorates the bodily Ascension of Jesus into heaven. In this part of the world it’s a public holiday and also Father’s Day. Friday, which falls between The Ascension Day and a weekend is an obligatory day off. Yeah! Look straight ahead, Mr. Bowie, there’s nothing but blue skies. It’s gonna be a bright sunshiny day.

  1. No obstacles in your way from up there, ol’ nimble toes! I know where your clouds are though, they’re right outside my front door. We will get rain until the weekend. It’s pouring as I type 😀 It’s our spring now and things are going to be so fresh and green. Look at all those empty planters, maybe an alley of lovely Nepeta?

I see your garden too in the background Herman, it looks *prachtige* :0) Have you made this layout and design of your garden yourself? I think the pavers and gravel are really nice and the wire and rock fencing are unique. Very magazine worthy. Hey! Have you been to this event in Brussels? Magnificent!

    • Hi there, Boomdee! I worked together with a landscape architect, some ideas were mine, some his. But his company did most of the work, I just had to use my credit card and a brush at the end of the day… 😉

I saw the flower carpet show some years ago. It was very impressive. But I don’t like going to Brussels, I just don’t like that city…

  2. We have sun here too, after several rainy days. Every window sill contains a sunning cat. Wonderful, I enjoy my coffee better when a furry head is not bobbing in my lap, aiming for my wrist:).
