  1. If we are outside, we’ll drink water from just about anywhere, the bird bath, puddles…whatever we can find. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Was best grappig: in de ene hand een gieter en in de andere hand een iPhone. En dan met beide handen maar ‘mikken’ …

  2. My husband used to say that cats will drink from any source they can find, rather than their own supply that we put down for them. 🙂

  3. In my house the reservoir of the filter pitcher is the best place. I return to the kitchen to find Mr; Ferguson up on the counter with his head in it, if I forget to replace the lid while the water is running through the filter.

  4. Remember when we used to drink water from a green rubber garden hose that’d been laying in the sun all day and was probably full of germs because your dad had owned it for 20 years and dragged it around the yard year after year……I’ve been that thirsty. But never as thirsty as Mr Bowie 😀

  5. It is great fun drinking from the garden hose. It has its own special taste. My cat Samantha had a favorite place in the yard where she loved to drink water. It was a rectangular plastic “thing” that caught rain water when it came out of the downspout. In addition to catching rain water, it had some green moss growing in it too. Sam loved that “earthy” water better than anything else.

    • Your story reminded me of Jones, a cat who lived at my Dad’s place. She preferred rain water too. She was always waiting for the rain to stop so she could go outside.
Thanks for your comment, Mary. Much appreciated.

  6. Poor Kitty! Stooping to horrid levels so as to wet a parched feline tongue like this is UNACCEPTABLE! ASPCA??? Abuse! Where’s that errant servant (human/owner)?! Why isn’t there fresh water made more readily available for Kitty? Good help IS SO HARD to find!
