Life in Technicolor

I guess I was busy when the sunshine arrived.

After an exceptionally warm month of December, unusually mild temperatures in Belgium makes this winter one of the warmest on record since record-keeping began more than a century ago. It’s not looking as if the weather will change soon, at least not in the two coming weeks, weather forecasters claim. I don’t mind. I hate winter.

I can hear rain coming like a serenade of sound
Now my paws won’t touch the ground

  1. Mr. B., You are a very lucky kitty. We have just found out that our winter is the sixth coldest since records have been kept and January was the coolest one since 1982. Non of we kitties or even any of our brofurs at the RB were alive yet. And all the stoopy groundhogs saw their shadows last week so we are in for six more weeks of this nonsense. Stay warm in that glorious sun puddle. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  2. We – on the other hand – are having one of the coldest winters on record…..somewhere in the middle of what you had and what we’ve still got is middle ground and I’ll be HAPPY when we get some!

  3. We got everybody’s bad winter here, and it can’t get over soon enough. Mr. Bowie looks so relaxed; maybe he’s thinking of spring like most of us over here.

  4. Enjoy your nice warm winter sweet Mr. Bowie. We have cold and everything is covered in ice here. You sure look comfy all stretched out enjoying the nice sunshine. Hugs and nose kisses

  5. Well, I wouldn’t want to engage in any climate debate but…’s warmer everywhere than any time in history. Not here today tough 😦 Winter on the Canadian Prairies is still frigid. We’ll probably the first ones covered in glaciers in the next ice age. I should start stocking up on Chocolate now 😀

  6. Heerlijk hoe Bowie daar ligt te genieten! En ja snel de wintermaanden voorbij, dan kunnen we genieten van de lente, misschien al eens buiten zitten….

  7. The wonderfulness of animals … the way they can find a ray of sun, and nap contentedly. Every time I see my dogs laying in a sunny spot on the couch, or the bed, or the floor, I just want to curl up and nap with them.
