Waiting for Maria

Ball cats. Ball cats are individuals, usually youths, who retrieve balls for players or officials in sports such as tennis, baseball and basketball. Though non-essential, their activities help to slow down play by increasing the amount of inactive time.

  1. We’d think we kitties would be good at both tennis and baseball retrieval, but we’re not sure how well we would do with basketballs. Mr. B, we really hope that Maria finally showed up, or is she at the French Open?     • I guess you’re right about basketball. I’m going to rewrite this post and change basketball into table tennis.

  2. So he just couldn’t bear to have that ball on TOP of the container and just HAD to push it off right? If Bowie’s like Sam, that’s about as much effort as he’d put into the game anyway! 😀


  3. Bowie’s sense of order was out of kilter. Please don’t disturb him in this way – the threat of unnecessary physical activity can cause trauma to a cat of Bowie’s sinsitivity.
