En als ik eerlijk mag zijn, waarschijnlijk is het dan ‘s avonds achteraan in de tuin ook gezellig met de avondzon die we dan gaan krijgen…
En yep, die naalden moet ik niet meer ‘wegblazen’…
Oh No! Mom went back to check on our former home, and the lady across had her redwood tree removed because she didn’t want to sweep up its fallen leaves. That redwood was not really old, maybe only 30 years, but it was huge, so sad
What a coincidence, I bought a new tree for my garden, a Liquidambar styraciflua, commonly called the American sweetgum. I’ll write a post about it when it’s planted.
oh no that is so sad ;-(
I really loved that big tree. I’m going to miss it…
😦
Aww….that’s a shame….that was quite a large old pine tree…..a pox on your neighbor!!
Pam
I just checked… the tree is gone… It’s a shame.
It is a shame….it looked healthy (and happy).
Pam
Bummer…trees are so precious…they take so long to grow big…:-(
More than 50 years… That tree was really old…
Very sad….that tree has been there for a long time.
I’m going to miss the shadow on hot summer days…
Always makes me sad when I see being taken down. Maybe there was a problem with it that you didn’t know of?
No real problems, my neighbors were tired of cleaning all the mess (needles, cones, seeds…).
Aww. That’s too bad.
Je zal de boom missen maar niet de naalden in je tuin…

Spijtig voor den boom, maar leve het gemak ervan…
Er wordt nogal hevig op deze post gereageerd, gelukkig zijn mijn buren geen HoB volgers! 😉

So sad when they remove such big trees…
Holy cow, Timber !!! Dang, was it a storm? That’s a shame, it looked like a beauty. I hope it didn’t fall on anyone or anything.
No, they were just tired of that tree, kinda…
Not an atheist, but a tree-hater. It saddens me to see trees felled.
I’m going to miss the tree next summer. I loved the shadow in my garden…
This is so sad! I think you should plant the same tree on your side of the property just one meter away from where they chopped it down……

that’s great news!
