  1. Bowie is smart to leave the cleaning to you….! They are very aggressive birds – if Sam is out in the yard they will occasionally “dive bomb” him – swooping out of a tree aiming for him on purpose – I’m thinking he needs a safety helmet for protection. πŸ˜€

    • Haha… I don’t think Sammy would wear a helmet! Maybe you should watch Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” together with Sammy! πŸ˜‰
Bowie goes after the birds but he’s way too slow for them…

      • Sam used to chase them in his youth – he goes under a shrub now when they start picking on him. I haven’t thought of “The Birds” in years but of course now that you’ve mentioned it, I’ll think of it every time I see them out there!

  2. In America, it’s largely American Robins who do this, and for all the entertainment they provide to the feline household while they are destroying my nice neat edges, I gave in.

  3. Wow. That’s one really keen blackbird thrashing about in your wood chip borders. I don’t blame Mr Bowie for taking a nap though, it’s a lot of effort to catch them unless he has some motor-powered wings. πŸ™‚
