Changing Bedsheets

Removing dirty sheets. Changing the bedsheets is an easy chore that you should take on every two to four weeks (or less if the sheets become dirty sooner than that). There are three parts for bedsheets: the top sheet, the bottom sheet and the cat. Both of these sheets should be changed at the same time, but don’t change the cat. Don’t leave one sheet on and change the other. Leave the cat alone. But beware, a cat is fascinated by the front-load washing machine. Please check the washing machine before closing the door.

  1. Cats do seem to find bed-changing extremely interesting…one of their favorite things to “get in the middle of”…..literally……..I know it takes me four times longer to do this chore thanks to Sam wanting to be INVOLVED!

    • Ik vind dat helemaal niet leuk, nieuwe lakens op mijn bed. Ik slaap dan niet goed en moet een slaappil nemen… 😉

  2. My old cat Simone used to love to get under the sheets as I was trying to tuck them in, and now my present cat, Zoee has taken up her mantle…it is a fun bonding experience though. 🙂

  3. I actually managed to change the sheets once with not one, but two cats sprawled out on it. They were both big lazy boys and they were very happy to have me just slide the sheets over and under them.

    • Yipee! Another nomination. Thank you very much Sally. Can you see the smile on my face? Bowie says “Meow!”
