Kattenkruid (Nepeta) of Neppe. Er zijn verschillende soorten: Wild kattenkruid (Nepeta cataria), Grijs kattenkruid (Nepeta faassenii) en Blauw kattenkruid (Nepeta racemosa). Hier in het plaatselijke tuincentrum waren ze allemaal in stock, voor enkel 1 euro het stuk. Een aanrader zegt Bowie!

Ahh…Bowie my friend you have been introduced to the wonderful world of catnip! My Mom says it reminds her of the 60’s and 70’s (and some of the 80’s) whatever THAT means ;D . Maybe having the catnip plant will keep you from trying to climb fences and leave your home territory???

My cat is one of those on which catnip has no effect. Now if I give her some pine needles, she’s in cat heaven for 30 minutes.
Bowie ignored the catnip plant after two days. Think I’m going to sell it to the neighbor’s cat.
